Description: Streets_OMS represents traffic corridors throughout the City of Wilsonville, Oregon. This includes differing surface types, ownership, and roadway dimensions for surface calculations. Streets_OMS is the main streets layer used by the COW to collect and retain roadway data for internal use. This layer is consumed by Wilsonville maps and Cartegraph servers for both internal record keeping and external visual representation.For maintenance and cost finding, Streets_OMS is segmented based on overall length of the roadway. If roadway segments are longer than 1,000 linear feet in length, then it is segmented to bring it as close to 500 linear feet as is reasonable. This “Splitting” is done using visual cues, such as driveways, medians, and other such structures which provide a natural stopping point for paving/resurfacing purposes.
